Somerset Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine

Dr. Aida Soriano, M.D., FACP, FCCP, is Board Certified in Internal  Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, and Critical Care Medicine. She is the senior partner and founder of the medical group, and is the former chairman of the Somerset Medical Center Department of Pulmonary Medicine. Dr. Soriano completed undergraduate and medical school at the University of the Philippines, Internal Medicine Residency at St. Peter's Medical Center of UMDNJ-Rutgers Medical School, and Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship at Hackensack University Medical Center, an affiliate of UMDNJ Medical School.

Dr. Jack Lee, M.D., FCCP, DABSM, is Board Certified in Internal  Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, Critical Care Medicine, and Sleep Disorders Medicine. He is fellowship trained in Sleep Disorders Medicine and a Diplomate of the American Board of Sleep Medicine, a rare qualification. Dr. Lee has over 8 years of experience in private practice and is medical co-director of our Somerset Sleep Consultant Center. Dr. Lee completed his undergraduate studies at Columbia University, NY, then medical school at Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. He then completed Internal Medicine Residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital (Philadelphia, PA) and later Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine Fellowship at UMDNJ Medical School (Newark).

Dr. George J. Poiani, M.D., FACP, FCCP, is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, and Critical Care Medicine. He is also a Clinical Associate Professor at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Highly respected as an academic physician, Dr. Poiani has world-renowned expertise in treating patients with pulmonary hypertension and interstitial lung disease. Dr. Poiani earned his Bachelor of Science from Allegheny College in Pennsylvania, and Medical Degree at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He then completed both Internal Medicine Residency and Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine Fellowship at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

Dr. Vinette Coelho-D’Costa, M.D., DABSM, is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, Critical Care Medicine, and Sleep Disorders Medicine. She is fellowship trained in Sleep Disorders Medicine and a Diplomate of the American Board of Sleep Medicine, again, a rare qualification. Dr. Coelho-D’Costa is the medical co-director of our Somerset Sleep Consultants Center. Dr. Coelho-D'Costa earned her medical degree from Goa Medical College in India. She later completed Internal Medicine Residency at the Capital Health System in Trenton, NJ, an affiliate of Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She then completed Fellowship in Pulmonary Medicine at Harlem Hospital Center of Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, NY., then Critical Care Medicine Fellowship at Albert Einstein School of Medicine - Montefiore Medical Center, Bronx, NY. Dr. Coelho-D'Costa then completed a full one-year Sleep medicine Fellowship at the Sleep Disorders Institute at St. Luke's Roosevelt Center, NY.
